Project Description & Scope
The air quality assessment involved identifying the potential impacts of traffic-related emissions from the New England Highway on a proposed childcare centre.
The scope included identification of potential emission sources, identification of other sensitive receptors, dispersion modelling and development of mitigation measures.
Our Role
We provided independent technical advice to assess and manage potential air quality impacts associated with the proposed childcare centre.
We used the air quality screening tool and AERMOD dispersion modelling to conservatively estimate pollutant concentrations at the proposed centre.
A detailed and defensible report was also prepared to support the development application, integrating key assessment findings and demonstrating compliance with relevant air quality requirements to assist the client through the approval process.
